Pressure Relief Solutions at the Heart of a Financial Landmark

Located on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in Baku, the new headquarters of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan is a distinctive addition to the city’s skyline. Built by Tekfen Construction, the project received an Award of Merit in the Office Buildings category of ENR’s 2026 Global Best Projects competition.

At the heart of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan lies its vault room—a critical space where specialist fire protection solutions play an essential role.

Gerhman supplied Dual Flow Pressure Relief Dampers for this area. Designed for gaseous fire suppression applications, these dampers provide bidirectional pressure relief, helping manage the positive and negative pressure changes associated with extinguishing-agent discharge.
