Constant or variable airflow?

CAV controllers maintain a selected airflow within their specified pressure and airflow range. VAV terminal units serve variable-airflow applications and must be selected with the intended control arrangement. Compare the design airflow, available duct pressure, connection dimensions and installation space. Use the individual model catalogue to confirm the operating range, control options and mounting requirements; the CAV or VAV name alone does not define these details.
