Shallow rectangular form

The DD05 is a displacement diffuser with a shallow rectangular body and a broad, flat perforated face. The simple outline provides a clear visual relationship with surrounding architectural surfaces. Consider the complete installation space when planning its position, including adjacent finishes, furniture, circulation and the route for supply air into the room.

Low-level displacement ventilation

Displacement ventilation supplies air cooler than the room close to floor level with limited momentum. The air travels through the lower part of the room and joins the rising currents produced by occupants and equipment. High-level return or extract points support the upward transport of heat. The room’s heat sources and available air paths are central to the design.

Selection and layout

Review the DD05 against the required airflow, supply temperature and intended occupied positions. Keep furniture and stored items clear of the perforated face, and retain access for cleaning and inspection. Coordinate the selected dimensions, connections, pressure and acoustic requirements before finalising the installation.
