DD02 – displacement diffuser
Cylindrical form
The DD02 is a displacement diffuser with a cylindrical body and a curved perforated face. Its rounded silhouette offers a distinct alternative to a flat panel when coordinating ventilation with the room architecture. Consider the space around the diffuser, its relationship to nearby furniture and the route available for supply air.
Low-level air distribution
In a displacement ventilation system, air cooler than the room enters at low level with limited momentum and spreads close to the floor. Heat from occupants and equipment creates rising air currents that carry heat upward toward high-level return or extract points. The terminal layout and the room’s heat sources work together to establish this air path.
Planning and selection
Select the DD02 against the required airflow, supply temperature and occupied positions. Keep the discharge face and surrounding floor path clear, and allow access for inspection and cleaning. Coordinate the final dimensions, connection arrangement, pressure requirement and acoustic performance with the project design. Contact GERHMAN with the room layout and design conditions to discuss the appropriate selection.
The DD02 combines a cylindrical form with a curved perforated face for low-level displacement ventilation. Its rounded geometry gives the diffuser a clear architectural presence within the room.
