Broad curved front
The DD03 is a displacement diffuser defined by a broad curved front and a perforated face. The visible curve softens the outline of the terminal while keeping the ventilation element clearly expressed. Its position should be considered alongside wall details, furniture and circulation routes, with adequate space for the supply air to enter the room.
The displacement principle
Low-level displacement ventilation introduces air cooler than the surrounding room with limited momentum. The air spreads along the floor and is drawn into rising currents generated by people and equipment. High-level return or extract points complete the upward air path. The resulting distribution depends on the room layout, thermal loads and operating conditions.
Coordinate the installation
Assess the DD03 using the project airflow, supply temperature and intended occupied positions. Keep its perforated face unobstructed and provide practical access for inspection and cleaning. Review the selected dimensions, connections, pressure and acoustic requirements together with the local air-velocity assessment. Share the architectural layout and system design conditions with GERHMAN to develop a coordinated terminal selection.
The DD03 presents a broad, curved perforated face for low-level displacement ventilation. Its curved-front form provides an architectural option for layouts where a flat front is less suited to the design.
