Integrated Healthcare Infrastructure for a Modern Medical Campus

Located in the Turkistan Region of southern Kazakhstan, Turkistan City Hospital is a large-scale healthcare development designed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model to provide modern multidisciplinary medical services for the region.

Developed on a 15.63-hectare site, the hospital has approximately 83,278 m² of enclosed construction area and a total capacity of 762 beds, comprising 570 main hospital beds and an additional 192-bed capacity.

The medical complex includes 24 operating rooms and 26 outpatient clinics, together with modern patient rooms, clinical departments and supporting medical facilities.

Designed around patient comfort and efficient healthcare delivery, the campus also incorporates social and public areas including conference facilities, cafés, restaurants and children’s play areas, as well as outdoor parking for 534 vehicles.

Healthcare HVAC Engineering

Large multidisciplinary hospitals require HVAC systems capable of responding to very different environmental conditions across operating theatres, patient rooms, outpatient clinics, treatment areas and public spaces.

Air distribution must therefore be designed around the specific requirements of each zone, with particular consideration given to airflow control, indoor air quality, thermal comfort, pressure relationships and hygienic operation.

Gerhman contributed HVAC solutions and engineering support for the project, supporting the development of a controlled and comfortable indoor environment across this large-scale healthcare facility.
