Circular architectural form

The DD08 is a displacement diffuser with a cylindrical body and a curved perforated face. Its circular outline gives the terminal a rounded architectural presence. Positioning should consider the space around the body, the location of occupied areas and the paths available for supply air to move through the lower part of the room.

The upward air path

Displacement ventilation introduces air cooler than the room near floor level with limited momentum. The air spreads through the lower region and is drawn into rising currents created by people and equipment. Heat then travels toward high-level return or extract points. The effectiveness of this arrangement depends on the coordination of terminal placement, room loads and operating conditions.

Selection for the room

Review the DD08 against the required airflow, supply temperature and intended occupied positions. Maintain clear space around the active face and provide access for cleaning and inspection. Confirm the selected dimensions, connection arrangement, pressure requirement and acoustic performance during project development.
