Project Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antalya International Airport Expansion Project is one of T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s major aviation infrastructure investments, developed to significantly increase the airport\u2019s passenger handling capacity and support its long-term growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the expansion, Terminal 2 (International Terminal)<\/strong> was enlarged by approximately 135,745 m\u00b2<\/strong>, increasing its total area from 89,357 m\u00b2 to approximately 225,102 m\u00b2<\/strong>. The domestic terminal was also expanded by 38,733 m\u00b2<\/strong>, reaching a total area of approximately 75,159 m\u00b2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investment extends far beyond the terminal buildings. Approximately 1.5 million m\u00b2 of additional paved airside infrastructure<\/strong>, including aprons, taxiways and service roads, was constructed. Aircraft parking positions increased from 108 to 176<\/strong>, while the number of fixed passenger boarding bridges increased from 20 to 38<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The overall development also includes a new multi-storey car park, VIP and CIP terminals, a State Guest House, general aviation facilities, technical buildings, energy infrastructure and supporting airport facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainable Airport Infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainability and energy efficiency form an important part of the development. A 4 MW solar power plant<\/strong> has been installed on the roof of the new Terminal 2 development, contributing to the airport\u2019s renewable energy generation capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Terminal 2 International Terminal Expansion<\/strong> and Terminal 4 Domestic Terminal Expansion<\/strong> have achieved LEED v4 Gold certification<\/strong>, reflecting the implementation of advanced standards in energy efficiency, water efficiency, indoor environmental quality and environmentally responsible construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
